TechTalk held a forum where engineering researchers discussed innovation-related topics. Dr. Kathy Leung from the School of Public Health spoke about pandemic preparedness and response in the age of information on June 30, 2023. The event took place at the Tam Wing Fan Innovation Wing Two and was moderated by Professor Reynold Cheng from the Department of Computer Science. The talk highlighted the challenges faced during the COVID-19 pandemic and the need for better infrastructure, human capital, and analytics in pandemic prevention, preparedness, and response.
