During the COVID-19 pandemic, online learning had become the primary choice for most learners. Self-regulated learning (SRL) was crucial for academic success in online education. This research aimed to explore the role of recommender systems in helping learners gain self-regulation skills and achieve better learning outcomes. The research questions focused on the effects of SRL recommendations on students performance, SRL skills, and learning outcomes.
