LCQ21: Measures to cope with Coronavirus Disease 2019

Description

The Hong Kong government has entered a new stage in managing the COVID-19 epidemic, with the cancellation of isolation orders and no longer requiring the public to report positive cases. The government has assessed that Hong Kong has built a strong immunity barrier, with over 95% of the population having received three doses of the vaccine or having a history of infection. Public hospitals have been enhancing their capacity to combat the epidemic, and the government is closely monitoring the situation and considering the possibility of purchasing other types of vaccines in the future. The government has ceased distributing anti-epidemic kits to confirmed patients, but will continue to provide support for schools and residential care homes for the elderly.
