Depression hits huge number of HK residents
Description
A survey by the University of Hong Kong's Department of Psychiatry found that 70% of Hongkongers are moderately or highly depressed due to the Covid-19 pandemic and unstable economy. The study also revealed that over 40% showed symptoms of moderate to high post-traumatic stress disorder. The situation is particularly concerning for young adults aged 24 or below, with more than 45% of them experiencing stress disorder symptoms.
